We also have teams in the WBOPCA and BOPCA Senior Saturday competitions, and a Twilight (business house) competition which is played on Monday and Tuesday nights. Any senior player wanting to join any of these teams, please contact us to enquire further.
Payment: is required at the time of registration via credit card. Please contact us if you are not able to pay via credit card, or if you would like to discuss payment options. We understand that it is a challenging financial environment, and we are here to support your family to enjoy cricket however we can.
Junior cricket
Junior registrations will be for Term 4 2024. Registrations for Term 1 will open later in the year.
Time: Most Junior games are played on Saturday mornings. College Division 5 games are played on Saturday afternoons. Teams ordinarily have one practice session per week.
Grade: To help you choose the right level of cricket, please check here. We will work with you to ensure that it is the best choice for your child to develop their cricket in a fun, safe, and enjoyable environment. Please email us with any questions.
Equipment: We provide team gear bags for use by Junior teams. If you’d like your own cricket gear, we encourage you to visit Cricket Express.
Volunteers: Each junior teams will need at least two parent volunteers to help with coaching, managing, and scoring. Support and development is available to all new & returning coaches and scorers. Co-coaching can be an option too.
Our Club is run entirely by volunteers. If you’d to help with any aspect of Junior cricket, please email us.
Team formation: We will try our best to group friends together where requested. Each team will need to meet the minimum numbers for the grade. If we are low on numbers for any team or grade, we will work with other Clubs and the Western Bay of Plenty Cricket Association to try to get everyone out onto the park.
Payment: is required at the time of registration via credit card. Please contact us if you are not able to pay via credit card, or if you would like to discuss payment options. We understand that it is a challenging financial environment, and we are here to support your family to enjoy cricket however we can.
PlayHQ: after registration and payment, please check your email for a sign-up link to PlayHQ. This is important as it helps with electronic scoring of games.
