Mount Maunganui Cricket Club Announces New Three-Year Sponsorship Cycle with Loyal Community Partners

Mount Maunganui Cricket Club (MMCC), is proud to confirm our sponsorship partnerships for the next three years.

This renewed cycle brings together a mix of new and returning partners who have been instrumental in the club’s growth both on and off the field. The confirmed partners for the 2025–2028 sponsorship term are:

• Bond & Co. – Naming Rights Sponsor, now entering their seventh consecutive year in the role and over a decade of total partnership.
  
  
• Craigs Investment Partners – Returning to support the club after previously backing the junior programme.
  
  
• BSK Consulting Engineers – Supporting the club as a trusted local consultancy.
  
  
• New World Mount Maunganui – A proudly locally owned supermarket that is deeply invested in supporting the community.
  
  
• Port of Tauranga – A key regional organisation with a strong history of backing local sport.
  
  
• Cricket Express – Mount Maunganui’s local cricket retail hub on Tawa Street. By the end of this agreement, they will have supported MMCC for nine years.
  
  
• Cooney Lees Morgan- a full-service law firm with offices in Tauranga, offering professional legal services to clients for over 100 years.

The contributions from these sponsors are vital to the club’s operations. They directly fund coaching, facilities, and equipment, enabling MMCC to deliver inclusive, high-quality cricket experiences to hundreds of players across all age groups and formats. These partnerships also extend to uniform branding, park signage, and club visibility across the region.

Club President, Hamish MacMillan, expressed his gratitude, saying:

With over 570 members ranging in age from 5 to 70, including 28 teams competing in the club’s popular midweek twilight competition, MMCC is one of the most dynamic and community-focused cricket clubs in New Zealand. These partnerships  ensure the club can continue to grow participation, support player development, and maintain its place as a leading force in Bay of Plenty sport.
